The 31st Annual Workday Devil Mountain Run takes place Sunday May 4, 2008 - 8:00 AM start time. The 5K/10K Devil Mountain Run is the oldest continuous running event in the East Bay, it offers two flat and fast courses, 5K and 10K, that take advantage of Danville’s beauty along a portion of the Iron Horse Trail. The race begins in downtown Danville on Railroad Ave at Prospect in front of The Museum of the San Ramon Valley at the restored Railroad Depot.

It’s for a great cause! All proceeds (100% of the entry fees) go to benefit Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland – Northern California’s only independent children’s hospital. Registration is $30 in advance ($13 for children participating in Kids Run); $35 on the day of the race ($15 for Kids Run). Approximately 4,000 participants are expected to participate, including top competitive runners, walking enthusiasts, families, and local businesses strut their stuff to support Children’s Hospital. For more information call Diane at (415) 759-2690.
