See School API Scores for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. After all, the quality of our schools drive many home buyers to view Danville CA real estate as one of their top choices in places to live. San Ramon Valley Unified is the top ranking large district in the state of California.
Danville CA hosts many wonderful events each year, most in the downtown area. My personal favorites are:
- Hot Summer Nights Car Show, an antique and classic car show on the streets of downtown Danville. Tons of fun, live music and free admission.
- Doggie Night, stroll with your doggie to the participating businesses and get a treat for the dog, and a punch on the scavenger card for mom and dad so they can qualify for special prizes for participating.
- Moonlight Movies on the lawn in front of the public library where a good time is had by all.
Downtown Danville is predominantly filled with small independent shops and restaurants rather than the big-box stores and chain restaurants that dominate other areas. You’ll find events like ‘Yappy Hour’ at Hap Magee Dog Park, where the local dogs and their owners gather on a Friday evening to catch up with each other.
Danville California owns and maintains 167 acres of parks, mostly used for active recreation. The Las Trampas Regional Wilderness may be accessed from Remington Loop in Danville or Starview Drive in Danville. Las Trampas Regional Wilderness is 5,342 acres of parkland, much of it accessible by foot or horseback. Bicycles may be ridden on designated bicycle trails, and on fire or service roads unless otherwise posted. The Iron Horse Regional Trail passes right through Danville California. First a rail road, now a trail. running from Dublin to Concord that attracts bikers, skaters, and joggers.
Home options in Danville are very diverse. You’ll find the home you want and need in Danville. We have it all, from charming cottages to newly constructed spacious homes to view estates and more.
