The Toyota Prius is the perfect Realtor’s car. Buyers love my 2008 Toyota Prius. I love my Prius. His name is Casper because he is white and very, very quiet!
Here I am with Casper at the top of Mount Diablo. It’s our highest point in the East Bay and comes in at over 4,000 ft elevation.
The Prius is spacious inside and quite a “conversation piece”. Many of my customers have referred to the energy consumption panel as “watching the cartoons”. I was watching quite closely a couple of days ago when I went down to San Jose (my longest road trip yet) and saw that I averaged 51.1 miles per gallon on the drive down.
What I love most is the integrated Bluetooth with call connect button right on the steering wheel. Press voice activated, speak the name and that little magical button and I’m on the phone.
Using the voice commands to change the temperature or ask the navigation system to show me the route to the nearest coffee shop are great benefits too.
Toyota & hybrids are in the news today in the San Francisco Chronicle. The article revealed that according to R.L. Polk, the Prius accounts for 51% of all new hybrid registrations. Also of note, 26% of all new hybrids registered in the US in the last year were registered in California.
